Hey there! I’m Nick Hannah. I’m a family and lifestyle photographer based in the north of Melbourne.
Your family is the most important thing in your world. But kids grow up in the blink of an eye. I believe that moments shared with your loved ones are the real treasures in this life. That’s why I love to celebrate these moments - to elevate them, recording a story of your love.
The power of photography is unmistakeable. You know the feeling of the full body smile that arises when you see a photo of a treasured moment.
Everyone carries a camera in their pocket, and we are flooded with photos, but how many truly beautiful pictures do you have of time spent with your loved ones? Photos worthy of hanging on your wall - photos that make you smile every time you walk down the hall?
For me, working with families like this is a dream. Every step of the process is joyful.
During the shoot I share playful moments and see people open up with the ones they love. While editing I find myself constantly smiling with sympathetic joy, seeing the smiles radiating out from the screen. And when I deliver your gallery I get to experience a reflection of the happiness and warmth that you feel when you see your finished photos.

SESSION FEE
Session fees are charged at; $195 on weekdays & $275 on weekends
The session fee covers:
a pre-shoot consultation and planning
your photoshoot
follow up and online gallery viewing
PLEASE NOTE; the session fee does NOT include prints or digital files. A copy of my full product guide can be sent to you on request by filling in my contact form. There is NO MINIMUM spend, you only purchase what you love.

The Process

Let's start by connecting! Fill out the contact form below, and I'll get back to you within one-two business day for a quick chat about your photography needs, pricing, and availability. If you'd prefer, you can call me directly at 0411 508 315. If I can't answer right away, please leave a message and I'll return your call as soon as possible.
BOOK YOUR SESSION
Once we've discussed your needs, it's time to book your session. We'll finalise the details and confirm your booking with the session fee. I’ll take some time to learn about what you want from the shoot, and discuss outfits and any other details you need to feel completely comfortable on the day of the shoot.
THE PLANNING
I want you to fall in love with your photos! Choosing outfits that make you happy is key. For family photos, we’ll plan to have coordinating outfits to create a beautiful & harmonious look. Generally light colours without patterns look great, but we can discuss what’s best for your family. The single most important thing is that you feel comfortable and relaxed. When we’re all having fun the photos will always shine!
YOUR SESSION
An exciting day! My goal is to make you feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. Don't worry if you've never had your photo taken before - I’ll guide you through everything you need to know, and we’ll find that magic moment when you forget about the camera and just enjoy yourself.
Sessions typically last between one and two hours, depending on the number of outfit changes. For sessions with younger children, I'm always mindful of the need to keep things on time, smooth, and enjoyable.
RECEIVING YOUR PHOTOS!
A few weeks after your session, I’ll send you a link to your gallery. This is the moment you get to see the results of our beautiful work together! You can look through this at your own pace, or we can jump on a call and discuss which photos are your favourites. From there you can simply select the images that you’d like to purchase and finalise the order directly from the gallery. All images purchased will be provided as high resolution digital downloads.
You can also order gorgeous prints from the gallery, in a range of sizes, framed or unframed. This is where the extra touch of magic happens. A physical, daily reminder of the love that you have created together.
